The Perfect Coffee

As I have mentioned before I am a creature of habit. Therefore, I drink the same exact coffee every single day…. and I know some of you can relate! I learned through trial and error on how to create the perfect coffee I can enjoy everyday without having to spend outrages dollars every year buying them out. This doesn’t go to say I don’t occasionally like to go out if I am with friends or on a Sunday get a coffee. I truly believe you can make your perfect coffee exactly how you like it at home, you just have to be dedicated to trial and error.

All of this being said I guarantee it took me at least a couple months to directly recreate the coffee I loved from my local coffee shop, and I enjoy it even better at home with better ingredients. Now, I do think I have the BEST coffee order and I am biased on that. But today I wanted to share a few variations of the best coffee’s I have had, and the most popular so you can make them at home.

PERFECTION!

“The Dream”

  • 1.5 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1/2 tablespoon pure maple syrup

  • 2 shots espresso

  • 1 cup milk (cow milk, oat milk, soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk etc.)

  • ice

Directions:

  • In a cup of choice add brown sugar and maple syrup. Brew 2 shots of espresso (this can be through a machine or instant if you cannot brew, however you prefer). Pour espresso over brown sugar mix.

  • Mix well until brown sugar and maple syrup are incorporated well. Pour in milk, and mix again. Add as much or little ice as you want.

…. this may be the only time you will ever see me drinking a hot coffee.

“Old Reliable”

  • 2.5 tablespoons honey

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 2 shots espresso

  • 1 cup milk (cow milk, oat milk, soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk etc.)

  • ice

- One thing I see a lot of coffee shops/ people do is not melt the honey. Honey will get hard when it comes in contact with a cold substance, (this makes the coffee gross, LOL)

Directions:

  • In a cup of choice add honey and cinnamon. Brew 2 shots of espresso (this can be through a machine or instant if you can not brew, however you prefer). Pour espresso over honey mix.

  • Mix well until honey is melted. Pour in milk, and mix again. Add as much or little ice as you want.

Amazon offers a wide variety of the cutest coffee cups, mugs and to-go cups.

“The Swirl”

  • 1.5 tablespoons white chocolate syrup

  • 1 tablespoon mocha syrup

  • 2 shots espresso

  • 1 cup milk (cow milk, oat milk, soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk etc.)

Directions:

  • In a cup of choice add white chocolate and mocha syrup. Brew 2 shots of espresso (this can be through a machine or instant if you can not brew, however you prefer). Pour espresso over syrup mix.

  • Mix well until syrups is combined with espresso. Pour in milk, and mix again. Add as much or little ice as you want.
