Cucumber Salad
If you are as dialled into social media like I am, you have definitely seen the upward trend of cucumbers right now. Specifically cucumber salad. The various types of cucumber salads that so many people are creating right now, and specifically starting with one man named Logan who took the internet by storm with “eating an entire cucumber”. His handle is @logagm on TikTok and he started creating some insane recipes daily where he was literally eating an entire cucumber in one container.
Although this recipe I am sharing with you all today did in fact stem from a recipe he shared, I did make some minor changes that tailor to me and my audience. This is something you can also do if you choose to make this. Alter my recipe if need be, “salads” like this are so versatile, half the time you don’t even need to follow a specific recipe.
The recipe and measurements below can easily be altered with more or less of something depending on what you like.

*** For the onion portion you can do yellow, white or purple onion.
1 english cucumber
1 pack of smoked salmon
1/3 cup cream cheese
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 cup diced onion
1/2 diced avocado
salt + pepper to taste
Directions:
Start by slicing your entire cucumber. This can be done baby hand or by mandolin. If you choose to put the sliced cucumber in the iconic “restaurant grade” plastic container. This can serve as your vessel for storage and mixing or just storage. (I chose to mix my ingredients in a bowl first)
In the bowl/ container add in 3 ounces of chopped smoked salmon, cream cheese, soy sauce, diced onion and avocado. Begin to mix everything well. At this point you will be ready for the seasoning. I just used salt and pepper to taste. (Note: the salmon and soy sauce will already be salty, so keep that in mind)
You can enjoy this as a snack by itself or as a side item along other foods.
