Warm Baked Pears
It’s fall ya’ll... as they would say back home! This recipe embodies the fall spirit and quite honestly is so delicious I hyper fixated on it when I first created it.
Pears were something that I usually only ate out of a jar, and never truly had the desire to try elsewhere. Until I discovered how delicious baked fruits were, just on their own.
These types of baked goods are extremely versatile as well, you can add whatever toppings you feel like. For me I added peanut or almond butter, granola and a warm maple syrup.
Let’s get into the recipe!
Ingredients:
Baking ——
1 pear (halved)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Topping ——
Measure with your heart on determine how much or little topping you want, and what you want!
I use granola, almond butter and maple syrup here.
Directions:
Half the pear, core out the centre and spread the olive oil over both halves, coating well. Place on a baking sheet and bake on 400 degrees for 20ish minutes. Watch closely and don’t let burn .
Take out and while warm start adding toppings, and enjoy!
I developed this recipe back in 2021.
