Cauliflower Wings BBQ Style
Now this recipe is one that was made entirely by accident and unknowingly was one of the best things I ever had. I really just wanted to try and utilise a wedge of cauliflower that I had and I didn’t want to just it raw. I was cravings “wings” but didn’t really want chicken (IYKYK) at the time so, here we are. These are very simple to make and you pretty much only need 6 ingredients.
This can be GF as well as I use King Arthur GF flour, and GF breadcrumbs. I would also recommend using olive oil and not the spray kind, as they get crispier this way. I used BBQ sauce for my wings and although I recommend and prefer this I would also tell you that any type of “wing” sauce will be absolutely amazing here!
Directions:
Take a baking pan and coat with olive oil and spread well.
Chop 1 head of cauliflower up into individual pieces. In 3 separate bowls pour bread crumbs, flour and than eggs into each. Whisk the eggs.
Take a piece of the cauliflower and dip in flour then egg and then bread crumb. Place each on baking sheet.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees and bake for 15 minutes, flip around and flip for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown!
Ingredients:
1 head of chopped cauliflower
1 cup of bread crumbs (I use GF)
1 cup of flour (I use GF)
2 eggs
1 bottle wing sauce of choice
3 tablespoons of olive oil
