Introduction

Check out my “About” page for a quick little introduction about this page!

Four years later and here we are. We are not diet culture and diet culture should not consume us. Life is about balance and doing things we love. We only live once and I dont know about you, but I dont want to live with regrets of thinking “I wish I would of eaten that, it looked so good” or “I wish I would of worn that outfit.” Just in general having those regrets that are so minimal to how we live our daily life it doesn’t mean anything. It will not affect us how diet culture makes us believe.

Everyone deserves happiness in some form, and everyone deserves to live a life where they aren’t miserable everyday. Although eating and daily activities like I will share on here are just a small part of life and seem simple to most, I hope the message comes through deeper and resonates with those who truly need it.

Welcome friends, let’s eat!

Welcome to My Love Letter To Food!

This was a passion project of mine that I started back in 2020 during a hard transitional period in my life. I was just graduated from high school and going into college during a worldwide pandemic. While this was happening I was also trying to overcome an eating disorder. This is what prompted me to start sharing my journey online.

While I just started originally sharing small things like what I was eating for breakfast or what I was eating out at a restaurant it quickly turned into a platform where a community formed. I started getting a passion for creating recipes, sharing day to day life and sharing more about my personal journey. I quickly realised this was something so many other people were dealing with. It was a common occurrence in today’s culture for teenagers and young adults to develop disordered eating as a “social norm.”
